Since there is not a set crew that you have to use for Q’s Trials in STFC, you can experiment with a variety of crews.
In Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) you can encounter the iconic characters, hostiles, vessels, storylines and locations from the classic series, Star Trek.
In addition to following the main arcs, you can participate in a range of activities, one of which is Q’s Trials. Although you can use any crews for this activity, some perform better than others.

Q’s Trials
Commanders level 19 and higher can participate in Q’s Trials, but to enjoy this new activity, you need to build the Court of Q.
As the Court’s level increases, you will find that the bonus Protomatter that you earn from completing a Trial also increases.
To start a Trial, you need to spend a Trial Bell, which can be collected from the daily gift section or by participating in certain events.
Every Trial requires that you to vanquish a hostile before the time runs out. The enemy to each Commander is unique though. After completing the Trial, you will receive various items for your efforts.
STFC: Q’s Trial Crew
You can build several crews in STFC and even though you can use any of them in Q’s Trials, this is not recommended. This is because some crews will perform better during the activity than others.
On the official Discord server, STFC player, Wesley 2.0, recommended that players use Pike, Moreau and Chen.
However, players can replace Chen with T’Laan to see which weapons were kinetic, and which were energy weapons. You also have to consider how much your piercing damage was.
Commanders can also use Pike, Moreau and Trinity, which is essentially Charvanek, Kang and Marcus. Wesley 2.0 mentioned that he has used SNW Officers, Trinity Crew, PIC Beverley as well as Gorkon, SNW crew members and Trinity.
If you are not struggling with Q’s Trials and you are just attempting to maximize progression or Trial Bells, you can use a Janeway crew of a full SNW crew, as they do well to protect maximum hull.
Allegedly, players can also use Leslie crews to complete Q’s Trials.
All the officers mentioned above have unique below deck abilities as well as captain maneuvers that can be very beneficial during Q’s Trials. However, it is crucial that you select the correct character to be the captain of your vessel.
Abilities
All characters in STFC have abilities which will help you complete the activity or defeat a hostile in a star system.
However, though the abilities may seem similar, the skills are unique to each character:

Pike | Advanced Training: Increases the ship experience points earned in combat | Teaching Moments: Pike increases the effectiveness of all Officer Abilities which trigger in combat |
Moreau | No Fear: She decreases the Armor Piercing, Shield Piercing and Accuracy of Hostiles | Keep Going: After winning a battle, she heals the shield health |
Charvanek | Mind Games: At the beginning of the combat, Charvanek increases the Piercing of the Ship by a certain percentage of the Health of the crew on the ship. | Romulan Tactician: When the ship’s Hull Health drops below 80 percent of its value, she has a chase of Burning the opponent for 3 rounds |
Kang | Blood Oath: At the beginning of the battle, he increases the Accuracy of the ship by a percentage of the Attack of the crew on the ship. | Dahar Master: When the battle starts, he has a chance of dealing a hull breach to the opponent for 3 rounds |

Janeway Crew
STFC players can use the Janeway Crew If you are not struggling with Q’s Trials or just attempting to maximize progression or Trial Bells. If you are considering using a Janeway Crew for Q’s Trials, you should use specific crew members.
We recommend that you use Lieutenant Valeris, Saru, Khan and Seven of Nine. Remember that there is no set crew that you can use with Janeway as Captain.
Instead, you can experiment with these characters to see which crew combinations work the best for your playstyle.
Leslie Crew
If you are interested in doing the Q’s Trials with the Leslie Crew, you should use Kirk and Spock with her. Their abilities synergize extremely well, which means that you will have a fairly easy time completing the Trials.
However, we recommend that you experiment with other teams when you participate in Q’s Trials to see which team best suits your playstyle.
